When and where will we spend the Millennium and what will we be doing?
Since the beginning of time, mankind has always dreamed of being able to fly like a bird. On December 17, 1903, man achieved the first powered flight in history. Since then, man has advanced rapidly in flight technology. Now, thousands of people fly every day all around the world, at incredibly high speeds…that is, in an airplane. But flying in an airplane isn’t really flying like a bird, is it? A bird can fly all by itself, and doesn’t need assistance. There are many men today who still dream of flying just like birds, without airplanes. Some of these men are involved in the sport of sky diving. And even more recently, a new flying sport has emerged. It’s called Wingsuit Diving. Wingsuit diving is similar to sky diving, but the diver has more control of which direction he goes. He can turn right or left, and he can dive straight down. He can even fly forward a little bit on a slight horizontal plane. But there is still one thing the birds do that he can’t do. The wingsuit diver can’t fly UP. Mankind’s dream of being able to fly like a bird still hasn’t been achieved. But the Bible predicts that mankind will soon get his chance to fly just like a bird, and even better than a bird. In lesson #5 we learned that Jesus will return to this earth and gather His saints who will be caught up to meet Him in the air. Where will these saints be flying to? Let's find out!
